Tracey Mae was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom; she then immigrated to South Africa at a young age with her parents.
Tracey Mae completed art for matric, qualified as an international make-up artist and later in graphic and web design. Art is an intrinsic part of her life.
Her art is created on canvas in acrylic and oil mediums
She is chair of the Plettenberg Bay Arts Association and a member the Knysna Arts Society.
Her work sells internationally.
Tracey lives in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa with her husband, two dogs and a schizophrenic cat.
Tracey Mae has exhibited in numerous exhibitions of which she has curated two.
- • December 2018 – Tracey Mae received an International award of excellence in the 7th international seascape competition and exhibition held by the LightSpaceTime Gallery, Jupiter, Florida, USA. There were 561 entries from 22 different countries and 31 states.
- • May 2019 – Tracey Mae was the recipient of a special merit award in the International “Animals” art competition and exhibition for her artwork “Majestic”. Majestic was one of 793 entries from 31 countries and 35 states.
